We are a nursery school in the heart of Haslemere providing a caring, supportive and stimulating environment for children aged 2-4. We enable the children to develop the skills and confidence for "school readiness" and the majority of our children transition to local primary schools, with whom we have strong links.

Our staff support the children to learn the necessary social skills of cooperation, sharing and politeness when playing with others. We also enable the children to develop language and listening / attention skills through small group activities and through modelling language during play.

Your children will be encouraged to explore nature and the changing seasons in our outdoor area and through local outings. Our stimulating environment includes displays and activities linked to the wider world, to encourage the children's curiosity.

Weydown Nursery has policies and procedures in place which are intended to minimise the risk of transmission of the Covid 19 virus and ensure the safety and well-being of all within the setting.

We have set up an excellent regime of enhanced cleaning and hand washing as we have been open during the lockdown period ( since April 2020) for families of key workers.
